This is an independent activity to practice and maintain maths knowledge and skills. It is a simple activity where dice are rolled and the numbers on the dice are added, subtracted, multiplied or divided together. It can be easily adjusted to suit all ability levels.
A beginning of the year unit of work to find out about our class. Its main focus is statistics with number and measurement part of the unit as well. It also provides opportunity for digital technology, health and PE and literacy.
For this unit students are statisticians and researchers finding interesting things about their class. Data is collected and analysed with predictions and questions investigated and communicated.
